 Virtual Meeting with a Financial Aid Specialist

To ensure the health and safety of all Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) employees, the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) is not offering in-person appointments. However,  A financial aid specialist is available​ to meet with you, via Google Meets.

To connect with a financial aid specialist via Google Meets you must do the following:

1.   Please read Steps 2 through 7 carefully and then click the link below to schedule your appointment;

2.   Login to your Google email account OR if you do not have a Google email account you must create one;

3.   After logging into Google a calendar will appear. Each box represents an available appointment slot;


 

4.   In the upper right hand corner of the calendar select “Day” Day - google calendar
 for the view of the calendar to show available appointment slots for each day of the week on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday only. Use the arrows Arrows - Google calendar
in the upper left corner to see additional days and times that appointments are available;

5.   Next, once you have identified the date and time that works best for you select appointment slot; All available appointment slots will appear as “FA Virtual Appointment.” FA Virtual Appointment - Google calendar

6.   After selecting an appointment slot enter the reason for your appointment in the “Description” section;


 

7.   Then, click “SAVE”.

After clicking “SAVE” the appointment details via Google Meets will be sent to you by email. You will also see the appointment on your Google calendar. Be sure to accept the meeting invitation, which reflects confirmation of your appointment.

On the day of the appointment join the meeting either online or by phone.
