Global Health Management Program Description
The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (P.B.C.) in Global Health Management has been designed for practicing health care professionals and current students at UMUC and UMB.  The joint program offered by these institutions offers students interested in global and national management a chance to add to their domestic health management skills and it builds upon the heath care administration degrees already offered at UMUC.   The program is expected to give health professionals the specialized skills they need to work in an expanding global health marketplace that encompasses many health industries including pharmaceuticals, primary health care and inpatient care, and consulting.  The certificate is appropriate for individuals with an undergraduate degree in health care, current graduate students and those with three to five years of health care, health services/administration, or closely related experience.  The curriculum covers international health organizations, health systems and policies, and management and financial skills.
