The Faculty Advisory Council is an organization of college and university faculty members (full-time and adjunct) who represent all segments of higher education in Maryland: public and independent colleges and universities, for-profit institutions, and proprietary schools and college.  Its role is to advise the Maryland Higher Education Commission and the Secretary of Higher Education in developing and implementing policy that affect higher education in Maryland, and advising them in matters that particularly affect faculty in Maryland.

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources.
